This stage in the process is about planning to build the skills and experiences you will need to succeed. So, where do you start? Well if you’ve already completed phases 1 and 2 you’ll have an idea of the direction you’re planning to take, so now it’s time to start targeting opportunities and developing a professional identity. In order to engage with potential employers or those who can provide you with opportunities you have to be able to show them what you’re worth. This is where having a clear sense of your own professional identity and goals come in. Putting in place a clear action plan will allow you to engage in the activities necessary to close the gap between your current life and the future life that you want.
This is an informative exercise designed to help you think about which areas you may need to work on and what sorts of actions you could take to help you move towards a clear plan of action to move forward.
