Now that you’ve settled into your course, you might be thinking about ways to enhance your CV while you study. Luckily, at UWTSD we are committed to supporting you throughout your studies and into employment.
Did you know that any full-time undergraduate wishing to take an additional course to complement their studies can apply for up to £200 worth of support? Think along the lines of a course in British Sign Language if you’re studying Education, or First Aid if you’re a Sport, Health or Outdoor Education student.
Learning a new skill to supplement your degree could give you the edge you need to land you your dream job when you eventually leave us. Not sure what you want to do when you leave? Don’t fret – developing a skill in a new area could enhance your wellbeing or help you to identify a specific area of interest for your future career.
There are many deadlines for the Skill-Up bursary throughout the academic year, so keep an eye and make the most of the opportunity here: http://www.uwtsd.ac.uk/bursaries
