UWTSD are providing Welsh Government supported training on United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The half-day training session will equip those who aspire to work with children and young people with the knowledge and understanding required to ensure that the principles of UNCRC are integrated into their practices. It is a brilliant opportunity for professional development and will look great on your CV.
The training will involve participating in group discussions and debates around the principles of the UNCRC and the ways in which they can be embedded, enabling children and young people to access their rights. This will provide you with an in increased awareness of children’s rights in Wales and will give you an understanding of how your chosen career pathway could impact them.
